Responsible Dog Ownership

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in Hitchcock Woods. We ask all visitors to be considerate of others and help maintain a safe environment for people, wildlife, horses, and fellow dog owners.

In accordance with South Carolina law, vicious/dangerous dogs are not permitted in Hitchcock woods. Visitors are liable for injuries or damages caused by their dogs.

Groups of 10 or More

To help ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask that organized groups of 10 or more visitors, including equestrian groups, contact the Hitchcock Woods Foundation office before arriving.

Our team can help coordinate your visit and answer any questions about trail access, parking, and group activities.
